Asthma Control Test TM

The first step to living free from the symptoms of asthma is to understand your levels of asthma control right now.

Control means no coughing or wheezing, no night-time interruptions and no emergency visits to your doctor or hospital.2 Control means participating in activities you enjoy and not having to avoid them. Control means using a reliever less and living life more.

The Asthma New Zealand Breathe Easy App contains a Asthma Control TestTM. Completing the Asthma Control TestTM is a way of working out your present level of asthma control.3

It’s been designed for asthma sufferers 12 years of age and older. The test contains five simple questions. The results can help you determine the level of control you have over your asthma. It is a good idea to repeat the test at different times of the year.

It may be useful for you to discuss your test results with your health care professional to help you reach the best asthma control possible.
