Simply lavender

When I was making my rainbow soap I needed a small amount of white for the raindrops and black for filling in the birds. I decided to make a simple lavender soap and pinch a little of the batter for the white and black.

As you can see, I struggle with simple. I added a heart embed and then a swirl of colours on the top.

The embed piece is longer than my mould, so the off-cut went into an individual heart-shaped mould with the left over black batter and a dash of purple. The balance of the leftover white and purple went into another heart-shaped mould, along with the scrapings from the black soap container.
